(7/9) Backbeat Magazine Block Party

Yes, the word on the street is true. AJ Miranda and I have merged with Backbeat Magazine from San Antonio. We are co-owners and our staff is coming with us from Red River Noise. It's been months in the making and we couldn't be more excited. We are bringing the best in live videos and national content to a organization that already does a stellar job with local coverage in San Antonio. Backbeat Austin is next and we are kicking off the first issue drop with a big block party on 7th Street this Saturday.

Since the Backbeat Austin magazine will feature the best of Austin music, art, culture, etc, we figured we'd bring in some Austin heavy hitters along with some cool lesser known bands to start the party. The lineup and set times are as follows:

Beauty Bar stage

8:00pm   Sorne
7:00pm   Shakey Gr aves
6:00pm   Wild Child
5:00pm   Little Radar
4:00pm   Holiday
3:00pm   One Hundred Flowers
2:00pm   Hello Caller

Red 7 Inside Stage

11:00pm   One Against Many
10:00pm  Cutting Losses
9:00pm    Amplified Heat
8:00pm    American Sharks
7:00pm    Megafauna
6:00pm    White Widow
5:00pm    Hellfire Social
4:00pm    The Red 100’s
3:00pm    Three Leaf

Red 7 Outside Stage

12:30am  Zeale
11:30pm  LAX
10:30pm  Eyes Burn Electric
9:30pm    Sounds Under Radio
8:30pm    The Boxing Lesson
7:30pm    Schmillion
6:30pm    Fulton Read
5:30pm    Shears
4:30pm    Motel Aviv
3:30pm    Lean Hounds

Please understand we won't be doing this big block party for every issue launch, but we have to come out with a bang for the debut. We'll reveal more events and details as they develop, but I can already tell you we have some great things in the works. You'll see.

Please be sure to check out the official event page on Do512 here and on Facebook here. RSVP on Do512 for $5 Entry. You must bring a copy of the confirmation email and present at door in order to receive discounted entry. I hope to see you there.

Collections also include colourful wall decorations Onitsuka Tigerwhich combine great design with safety. Many parents want to avoid having a framed and glazed picture on the wall so the soft padded wall décor Onitsuka Tigeritems and the soft printed wall canvases are the perfect solution as they are lightweight and pose no glass danger to the child.
