2/24 Kill Switch Engage at Stubb's: KSE with different lead singer!

Kill Switch Engage

Metal heavy hitters, Kill Switch Engage (KSE), are set to play Stubb's Wednesday with The Devil Wears Prada. I got word of some interesting news today.  KSE vocalist Howard Jones had to unexpectedly leave the band’s current headlining tour, leading to a flurry of rumors and questions about the status of the tour and the band. The band has further issued the following statement addressing the matter, saying: “It became overwhelmingly obvious to all of us around Howard that he is in no condition to be on tour right now and that he needed to get off the road and get himself better. It’s a personal matter and while we understand everyone’s curiosity and concern for Howard and the band, we appreciate everyone respecting Howard’s privacy at this time.”

Phil Labonte of All That Remains

That was disappointing to hear I'm sure for KSE fans. Phil Labonte of All That Remains was able to fill in and help out the band for a few shows and it appears as though he will be filling in for the remainder of the tour, which runs through March. I do like All That Remains, so for me this show just got way more interesting. I was planning to leave after The Devil Wears Prada but now my plans have changed.

I was told by a C3 rep's email that the show at Stubb’s this Wednesday (2/24) will go on as scheduled, but should refunds be requested, you would have to contact Front Gate Tickets by end of day Tuesday, February 23rd.  Any refunds requested after then will not be honored.

If you still wish to purchase tickets, you can do here: Front Gate Tickets
