Album Review: Underneath The Owl by The Riverboat Gamblers
Austin’s The Riverboat Gamblers have been a punk rock staple on the Red River scene in Austin for a few years now. I always enjoyed their shows at Red 7 and their music was pretty intense. Not long after my first Riverboat Gamblers show, I heard them on one of my Madden video games. I just knew bigger things were on the brink for them. Today, with the recent release of Underneath The Owl, the band is more than ready for the next level. They are the next level. (Photo by Gary Copeland)
