Megan Fox is always worth seeing on the big screen. She's gorgeous to say the least, unmatched by any other Hollywood actress in that department. She is starring in the upcoming movie, Jennifer's Body. If I don't have a show to go to or anything else to do, I'll go check it out when it hits theaters in September. The reason for this blog post though, is the soundtrack.
The soundtrack is put out by Fueled By Ramen and features a wide selection from their catalog and few from some other good bands. On the official soundtrack to Jennifer's Body you'll find the now defunct Panic At The Disco, All Time Low, Cobra Starship and even Silversun Pickups just to name a few. It will be released in stores on August 25th but you can preorder it on July 28th through the Fueled By Ramen store.
Here is the official trailer for the upcoming film, Jennifer's Body:

Panic! at the Disco is not 'defunct.' They lost two members, but are still very much active and recording, as their new single on the soundtrack will show.
Good overall soundtrack, but it had some startling exclusions...why not use "Jennifer's Body" by Hole?
They left off some awesome songs that were actually in the movie like “Sacre Couer” by It Dies Today, and I think that might be because they’re trying to aim this at teen girls and that song, cool as it is, might be deemed too heavy by the corporate dudes. Lame. I guess I'll just have to make my own mixtape version of the soundtrack.
Still, kickass movie that has the right mixture of gore, camp, and dark humor, and there are still a number of great tunes on the official soundtrack.
